STATEMENT FROM THE BISHOP OF BUCKING-HAM
20th June 1970 ^
"Mr. Nightingale has left Coleshill because, after much thought, he I
has decided that his place is not in the Anglican Ministry, and conse- *
quently, he has intimated to the Bishop of Oxford that he will take up
some secular work while he is discussing the question whether he should
join the Roman Catholic Communion".
BEST KEPT VILLAGE
Coleshill has entered for this competition again and wants to regain
the trophy. The preliminary and final judging will take place between
July 1st and 31st, and on June 20th Mr. R.G-. Stubbings, Chairman of the
Parish Council, arranged a meeting to discuss what can be done in the
meantime.
He appeals to all residents for their co-operation.

This year, Coleshill Church Fete was held on Saturday June 13th, and t
was opened by that gracious lady, Miss Williams. j
